About

I am your average 24 year old woman, making mistakes, paying bills (the never ending bills), trying to balance work, friends, family, introvert person time (really important) and time with my husband who works pushing 70 hours a week (eek). I got married in 2012 to the love of my life and together (with God as our foundation) we have been trying to navigate through this thing called life. I work as a nanny, 45 hours a week, make meals for my husband and I, clean our tiny but perfect 400 square foot studio apartment and love (maybe a little too much) bargain hunting!
I have a sweet little angel kitten named Vivienne, "Vivi", who is seriously my pride and joy. I am not necessarily a "cat person" but this little ball of fluff entered my heart in October of 2013 and she is not leaving... ever. As you can probably tell from my Vivi obsession, my husband and I have no children yet. We know that children will be a part of our future whether our own biological or adopted. We are just not quite in that place.
Until that day comes I am going to enjoy my life sans children and embrace it. I order to do this I have enrolled myself in a never ending lesson on learning to love myself and see myself the way God sees me. He does not look at me and see what I perceive as imperfections (stretch marks, acne scars, chunky thighs) he sees my character, personality and heart. He sees a vessel that he can fill to make the world more beautiful. He sees what I do and what I am capable of doing.
God is the most important "part" of my life. A better way to put this is to say that He is my life. He is my foundation, my best friend, my everything. If this is all you take away from my little blurb about me then I am good with that because He is the reason I am who I am.
